A2 Reading and Writing: Ten practice tests for the Cambridge Key for Schools

This edition of sample tests has been written to closely replicate the Cambridge exam experience, and has undergone rigorous expert and peer review. You or your students, if you are a teacher, will hopefully enjoy the wide range of assessment topics and benefit from the repetitive practice, something that is key to preparing for this part of the test.

The tasks include: answering multiple-choice questions on short and longer texts, including messages, signs, articles and websites; completing gap-fill tasks (with and without multiple-choice options); and writing a message using information. Candidates need to be able to: understand real-world messages; read and choose the correct word; read and choose the correct answer; choose the correct words to complete a text; write a message, e.g. a note or email; and write a short story.
