Literacy Plus is the first combined literacy and ESL curriculum for preliterate adults. Level A is for students who are not literate in any language and who know no English. Level B is for students who are acquiring ESL literacy and who are beginners in English.

Adult Students can't put their work and their lives on hold until they become literate. Literacy Plus offers survival English and literacy instruction at the same time.

The Students Book contains 10-units of daily lessons and practice in a convenient text-workbook format.

The Teachers Edition (includes Worksheets, Tests, Flashcards and CD-Rom) contains daily lesson plans, teaching instructions, and complete tapescripts. The CD-Rom has extra practice worksheets, performance-based achievement tests and a placement test.

Flashcards allow group presentation, pair and group games, as well as reinforcement of vocabulary, conversation, and literacy skills.

Audio Cassette contains listening and speaking practice on all vocabulary and conversations, as well as essential and effective listening comprehension exercises that prepare students to respond to authentic language outside of class.

The Guide for Native-Language Tutors enables a native-language tutor or classroom aide to enrich the civics strand by featuring it in the student's native language.
