Paul, Lisa & Co Starter provides a gentle introduction to the German language - playfully and without teaching grammar - and prepares you for the follow-up volume A1.1. Paul, Lisa & Co A1.1 and Paul, Lisa & Co A1.2 led to language level A1 with child-friendly grammar teaching. Children with previous knowledge of German can start directly with Paul, Lisa & Co A1.1.

The stories about the experiences of the four friends Paul, Lisa, Julia, and Alex convey language in a contextual and entertaining way. Topics such as birthdays, animals, hobbies, or holidays offer numerous points of reference and, together with the protagonist's story, create an emotional connection to the children.
