Portuguese in Focus 1 is the first in a set of manuals covering levels A1 to C2, aimed at teenagers and adults learning Portuguese as a Foreign Language. It is divided into thematic areas that aim to cover the communicative needs of learners, corresponding to levels A1/A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In this way, when starting learning, the learner will acquire communicative competence that will allow him not only to form grammatically correct sentences, but, mainly, to interact with other speakers, using speech acts appropriate to each everyday communication situation. Portuguese in Focus 1 also presents a Teacher's Book that is organized according to the units of the Student's Book.
Portuguese in Focus 1 - Exercise Book presents a diverse set of exercises that link with the Student Book, consolidating the content developed in each unit. This notebook can be used in class or as extra-class work. Contains varied vocabulary exercises, dialogues, and texts to work on the contents of each unit, grammar exercises and respective solutions.
