Straight to First is a short, intensive course that prepares students for the Cambridge English: First exam. Each part of the First exam is covered in the course. A grammar reference section provides thorough explanations of the language presented and the comprehensive Writing Bank focuses on all the task types found in the exam. The answer key for all exercises in the Student's Book makes it easy to use in the classroom or as a self-study course.

The Straight to First Online Workbook provides interactive extra practice for all the grammar and vocabulary covered in the Student's Book. Also included is extra material for the listening, reading and writing activities. The exam tasks in the first four units mirror those in the Student's Book but then differ for the last 6 units to provide further exam-style practice. Key features :
