This volume contains the papers Frisian III studies of six linguists from the Netherlands and Germany on the occasion of the third Symposium on F?hrer Frisian philology, the 12 11-by. April 1996 was held in Alkersum F?hr. The contributions deal with the special relations of Frisian Low German and Dutch, among others, the syntax of the Frisian town in the Dutch province of Friesland and the East Frisian-language groningschen relations and the role of Low German in the Saterland.
